Playing in your sandpit with your normal bucket and spades can get quiet old quickly for my crazy kids.
I love to make up activities that can get their imagination going, it’s a beautiful skill that they need for the rest of their life.
So making a mini world in the sandpit can really get there imaginations going. I love to make it into a dinosaur land.
Dig a hole and line it with a plastic shopping bag and fill it with water. I love to put a bit of food coloring in the water just to make it a little bit more special.
Find a log or large stick and make a bridge out of it for the dinosaurs, find little sticks and leaves and branches to make it into a bit of a forest.
My kids will spend hours in the sandpit when I do this and really enjoy looking for all the stuff to make the mini world.
